So when Trump starts taking these pro Israel stances, which he has already done, how will this Jew spin it?

Report the news and stop acting like Joseph Goebbels is in charge over there, and maybe he will have a case.

Well treason clearly means very little these days if statements that are stupid and misguided are somehow included under it.

Threatening the United States president telling him that you will intentionally try to harm relations with foreign countries by broadcasting biased misinformation isn't treasonous?

Damn, I get being a contrarian which is what you try so hard to do on here but this is trying too hard.

The president is our commander and chief, they threatened the whole country not just Trump

he thinks the people get to watch CNN?
It's available in rooms of every international hotel . . . . and not a single household.

You actually have to conspire with a foreign power. For instance, if someone illegally sold arms to Mexican drug cartels with the clear purpose of undermining the Constitution, that would be treason. Or if someone sold a sizeable percentage of the US uranium supply to a rival nation for personal profit. Zucker's comments are more accurately called "seditious" rather than "treasonous"

Another instance of the liberals not understanding what Trump and his supporters want. Trump doesn't really give a shite what other countries think of him. That threat won't sway him except to continue to do his best to destroy CNN

Thanks. I will retract "treasonous" then.

But no one can tell me that we are supposed to take CNN as a legitimate news source after these statements. I can't believe a president of a company would come out and self nuke his company like this.

No. CNN's Fake News might be characterized that way. Sedition is a domestic affair. What Zucker intimates is an extortion of Americans by threatening to aid US adversaries in anti-American activities and attitudes.

Again, it was a petty and small shot across the bow, but CNN and CNNi are taken together the largest News Networks in the world. Perhaps BBCnews is close. If you've lived abroad or travelled a great deal you know what's on in most airports, hotels, etc. They can shape opinion. And President Trump would do well to focus his fights on inefficiency, the war against ISIL and other VEOs, forming a coherent foreign policy for the first time since the Cold War, etc than trying to bring the media to heel. I know that's a pet project of a lot of his strongest political supporters, but it's a losing battle.

Defenders of Assange, Snowden, Greenwald, Manning, Wikileaks, and Putin are suddenly taking my tack on the matter.

Interesting. Well I'm a patriot, so I guess I'll take even hypocrisy.

I mean, to be fair I'm sure a very low percentage of Trump supporters watch CNN as it is.

CNN is basically tabloid news at this point and they are still mad that Hillary lost the election. It doesn't matter what Trump does they will try to destroy him by any means possible

A bit unprofessional, but you're missing the broader point. No president has ever won a war with the press. He has a million things to do, and he does it under their microscope.

They have one thing to do, and they are broadly protected by law and precedent.

Trump already won the war with the media. How many times can you be wrong today? I'll go with 87 as the over/under.
