how does one (or in this case, sooo many) people become so thoroughly and completely indoctrinated that they are willing to die or go to prison forever for their ideology? At least the snackbars think they have something nice waiting for them on the other side.

Prediction: we are about to enter a realm of video surveillance in public that we've never seen before. I wonder how long until you can't go to an event without seeing drones flying around recording everything.
