First, the president of Brown University looks exactly like you'd expect the president of Brown University to look. Second, I'm kind of impressed that the press in a couple of video clips I've seen so far, are actually asking relevant questions and pushing back on her and (I think) the chief of the campus police when it's clear they have no fricking clue about anything. These people are either grossly incompetent, lying, or both.

The gathering had nothing to do with the young Republicans. It was an exam review.
There was a post earlier about the class was targeted because "it was being taught by a Jewish professor"... who wasn't there at the time of the shooting.
Who else was killed/shot? What evidence is there that any student in particular was targeted?

NOW it's the "chief of police" saying that she was targeted? Please link that or admit you're just making it up.
So far, all I can find is some vague statement that "the police" told Miss Cook's family that she "might" have been targeted.
