Judge Amy Berman Jackson is now granting leave to file hysterical letters in support of sentencing Roger Stone.

Letters that attack AG Barr w/ conspiracy theories.

Calling the US an "autocracy" and "banana republic" with "Putin laughing all the way"

Shameful.

twatter

FOIL requets?

Seriously, why is this being made part of the record unless only to prove that TDS is a real thing affecting many? Why does Judge Berman need to consider "Philip Norton's letter in formulating her judgment on sentencing?
Insane.

Hence why I said the other day that this is a Jedi mind trick by Trump.

This bitch is fricking insane and is letting her wounded pride over challenging her authoritah make for reversible errors.

Jackson is just making it easier for an Appeals Court to flush this District Court process down the toilet.

I think it’s time for some of you to put your money where your mouth is and let the judge know how you feel about ole Roger

I thought that too, but even if it was, it would still be inadmissible hearsay and lay opinion testimony that is in no way relevant and blatantly prejudicial. Is she just trying to offer additional evidence to the court of appeal that she abused her power in this case?

Good Lord, people, she did not admit this letter in the evidence.

When someone writes to a court, or any government agency, the document becomes public record. It must be filed and maintained somewhere. That stamp simply says that it can be included in the file for the pending court case.

I seriously doubt that the judge is going to read every letter written to the court by some yahoo with an opinion.

"I was once a Republican that worked at New York University for 30 years"

There isn't a single person in the world that buys that absolute off the charts level of frickery.

Why do hardcore liberals lie so much?

If I sent that "judge" a letter, it wouldn't be acceptable by Twitter guidelines... and I might have the FBI visit... so I better pass.

Amy Berman Jackson has a big reputation of being the democrat's fixer judge.

She's their go to for whatever litigation they need a favorable outcome on in the DC circuit. She's ruthless and an absolute pitbull against anything that's adversarial to liberal interests.

After all she represented dolla bill jefferson.

Honestly, Hank, why would she take a fawning fan-girl letter that appears to have been addressed directly to her and put it in the record, apparently sua sponte? I mean, that's presumably her initials on the letter, which appears to have not been accompanied by a motion for leave.

Leave to file granted? Can it be refused instead of granted?

Gaslighting tactic.

The "I was once a die-hard Republican, but I cannot countenance this" bit is designed to make you question your own beliefs.
