Aspirin was first manufactured in 1899. No one knew how it worked until 1971. Yet they still prescribed it. No one realized it could work against blood clots until 1950. All you need to see is the John Hopkins documented 97% decline in CoVID cases in Delhi, India for the month of May (after massive distribution of Ivermevtin began on April 20th), to know it works. For whatever reason.

This has been mid managed and politicized and smothered with arrogance. Had anyone come out and said “this is new. This is science and research in real time. This is the best we have.” They’d probably still get shite on but they’d be more trustworthy IMO. The world panics at uncertainty. At some point the powers that be trying to appear certain became liars. The virus has made them look foolish. The Spanish Flu makes them look foolish. There were 3 waves in the 1918 Spanish Flu. Did we not expect a second wave at least with a new, possibly altered virus or variants?
They absolutely oversold the virus. They underestimated the politics of the moment and how many would refuse. They shite the bed with variants and what they would do. “Breakthrough infections” fricked them with national confidence. And gave anti vaxxers ammo.
Let’s not pretend anti vaxxers aren’t militant as well. I’m seeing it first hand at work. The worm has turned. Taken care of several anti vax people who got Covid and are now shitting themselves and mad as hell. With mild to moderate symptoms they are still pissed don’t know what to do with themselves, can’t wrap their head around an illness that lasts 2 weeks. Day 10 is the general limit. They lose their shite. “I’m not better. What can you do? I need oxygen (they don’t. Saturation is 95%). You haven’t done shite for me or my breathing. Just take Tylenol frick YOU!” Heard all of this in person or over the phone.
Had both vaccines. Will take a booster when I can. Don’t care if you do or don’t. UNTIL you end up at my job seeking our help WITH an attitude or smug to downright verbally abusive. HEY frickFACE you came to me. This is not your house. I did not go door to door with my oxygen and vapotherm and monoclonal antibodies.
I’ll do an 8 month to yearly booster like the flu, until this is under control and hopefully goes the way of swine flu. To answer your OP.

Two of the 17 were children and 5 of them live in the same house, another household has 4 members. All total 5 households were affected. The 4 year old apparently is a super spreader.

I just can't wrap my little ole brain around risking it for a vaccine that doesn't even stop you from getting sick or spreading the freaking virus?

Pediatrician prescribed griseofulvin a few years ago to treat my kid’s eczema, and it worked. Tried it on second kid, and it worked again.
Griseofuvin is for fungal infections, including ringworm.

It is not a "vaccine" as it does not prevent one from receiving the Red Chinese Flu! A true vaccine, such as smallpox, prevents one from receiving the disease!
