Trump just tweeted that we need to pressure dems to stop the horrible law of separating kids from their parents at the border.

Of course. It’s arrogant for us to believe our way of life is better than the way of life where these immigrants come from..their societies are equal to ours and to steal children in some arrogant view that they’ll be better off here is the height of nationalism!

We're not talking about prosecutions. We're talking about the practice of separating kids from their parents intentionally.

The article you linked was about prosecuting adults. When you prosecute someone who is a flight risk, you generally detain them until trial. Are you suggesting we should keep minors in jail?

It's not policy, it's law. This administration follows the law, regardless of their policy. For example, it's my policy not to suffer fools but the law prevents certain actions against brain-dead liberals.

It is a horrible law. You’re separating a kid from its parents and making the kid dependant on the system. The kid becomes another burden on society.

Before Trump's administration started this new policy of separating kids from their parents, kids and parents were kept in the same dention centers.
So yes, there's a way this can be done without separating kids from their parents during the process.

Obviously the parents are already irresponsible in the first place taking their kids over fast moving water and through treacherous terrain. Trump doing them a solid.
