The argument then will be about the mothers and children stranded outside the wall exposed to the elements. There will always be a sensational moral play to dissuade effective immigration control from taking place.

When American citizens break laws and are found guilty, they are sent to prison. Their children are not. American citizens by the tens of thousands are taken from their children yearly. Why am I supposed to shed tears for Mexican citizens who enter this country willfully illegally and don't expect to be separated from their kids.
Easy solution: stay your Mexican arse at home and you won't have a problem.

The losing policy is allowing anyone with a kid to be directed to a civil court in which they don't have to show up with, so they just bring kids and use them as pawns and traffic them.
There are 2 ways to solve this;
1) Secure the border.
2) Make the conditions better, if that's even necessary. 2,000 kids isn't too terribly much. Some rich person in Hollywood could house them in a decent hotel right now if they wanted to.
