Probably so since it was a bullshite trumped up charge to begin with
further proof Sadik doesn't make good decisions.

then that guy (Baxter) should not have chosen to break the law that day. it all goes back to just be a good human. good humans don't rob people. do you know if Baxter was offered a plea?
Maybe Good humans don’t lock a 23 year old up and throw away the key for breaking into a car?
Quite honestly, I think I’d rather be friends with a car mat thief than with a person who could send a young man away for life for stealing car mats. I really don’t think I’d like to be around a person with that level of callousness. In my view that’s pretty close to evil.

he isn't being locked away for breaking into cars. he is being locked away because two people died as a consequence of the crime he and his friend conspired to commit.
why do you keep saying they were breaking into cars to steal car mats? they were looking for money, electronics, and guns.

That's a stretch
The friend should be on the hook since he was the one driving the vehicle and killed the people
He shouldn't suffer the same fate as his friend in a just world
Anyone defending that is a moron. Even the families of the victims thought it was stupid

He didn’t have anything to do with the deaths and you know that. Just because the law says they can overcharge him doesn’t mean he was responsible for those deaths.
His only crime, if he’s standing before God, is getting into a car that wasn’t his.

i understand that the guy who fled literally has more blood on his hands. but they are both culpable. however, they both have to be held accountable.
i strongly suspect Sadik was offered a plea with a reduced sentence. being that they were in Broward County his lawyer probably surmised they would get a sympathetic jury. they chose wrong.
there are probably other facts that we are unaware of as well. Sadik may have been the ringleader. you, cubbies, and the alabama guy are just emotional thinkers. i suspect you thought Steven Avery was innocent as well after watching that Netflix show.

Yes. Because the other guy has 0.

In other words they rolled the dice and came up craps.

Yeah how dare the guy assert his innocence and expose the draconian prosecutorial process of overcharging defendants so they’ll take an uncontested plea. I guess we know how the cucks of the board would bend if ever put on the state railroad.

Does ANY of this go again the laws of the State of Florida? Didn't think so.
The laws were followed, correctly?
You don't like a) the outcome and b) the law. Change the laws if you don't like them, rather then just bitching about the outcome when they are followed.

Thanks for the tip.
We’re on a message board which primarily deals with bitching about things. Not sure this place would exist if they banned bitching.

The article talked about so many different people who were peripherally involved in the deaths of others who are now in prison for life that I can’t really remember which details went with each person.
I only indicated that I was taking about (Baxter) because all the pronouns were he and I wanted to be clear about who I was referring to. Petty.

like I said earlier, there is a moral to be learned here.

The total lack of self-awareness in this thread is truly astonishing.

We’ve learned this immoral countless times already.
That’s the point of this whole thread. Maybe it’s ok for laws to be reconsidered.

They don’t really believe any of these charges are reasonable. They are just virtue signaling and posing like alphas because they heard that alphas are tough on crime and take a hard line, no compromise! Thats what Andrew Tate would do!!!. Truth is no one thinks these charges are reasonable. Not even the DAs. They are just tools to get the defendants to plead guilty to lesser charges.
You know as well as I if their kid was up against something like this they would beg and plead for leniency and cry themselves to sleep over the unfairness. Big government cuck stooges.
Exactly. 90% of the so called "conservatives" here have no idea what it actually means to be conservative. They have zero issue with government overreach and twisting laws and legislation to fit whatever they want it to be. Then they'll complain when Democrats do the exact same thing and they're the ones that handed them the precedent and case law. Zero self awareness.

So why do you even post here? Posting on a message board in and of itself is fruitless. Why bother? Are you just bitching too?

Truth is that most people, left and right, don’t like the untidiness of freedom. They prefer strict dogma of legal code over sloppy subjectivity. And I’d wager they feel confident they won’t be liable for their transgressions because they’ve gotten away with their crimes so long they don’t even realize they are committing them anymore.
Dollars to donuts all these board Barney Fifes have stolen more by claiming unearned deductions on their taxes than this petty floor mat thief has dreamed of taking.

not to mention people calling the thieves evil and calling for their executions at the hands of the benevolent government… while calling dissenters communists.
Like I said earlier- no self-awareness whatsoever.
