That she says supports her innocence.

This is a ridiculous and baseless attack. I do not make investment decisions for my portfolio. Investment decisions are made by multiple third-party advisors without my or my husband's knowledge or involvement.

Senator Kelly Loeffler

As confirmed in the periodic transaction report to Senate Ethics, I was informed of these purchases and sales on February 16, 2020 — three weeks after they were made.

I want to set the record straight: This is a ridiculous & baseless attack. I don’t make investment decisions for my portfolio. Investment decisions are made by multiple third-party advisors without my or my husband's knowledge or involvement.

She has a very small window to provide a reasonable, air tight and credible explanation for these shady and suspicious transactions. And the best way to do that is going into the lion's den that's the Tucker Carlson show and defend herself. It necessarily doesn't have to be Tucker but it's the best platform possible to save her political career.

If she can't do that, then there's no good reason to support her bid to retain her senate seat. And I'll further support that by saying that in states that are trending purple and where it's getting harder and harder for conservatives to win, I'm all about results and if Kelly Loeffler cannot defeat the electoral poison this story is, she doesn't belong in the race.

Also, she should she not stop at a simple explanation, she should sell all of her stocks, fire the 3rd party advisors that compromised the integrity of herself and her husband, and support/introduce legislation strengthening the STOCK act.

I agree with Tucker, it's moral turpitude, a moral crime to use your position as a public official to profit while millions of people are losing their jobs in a wrecked economy caused by a global pandemic.

We allowed a guy to stay in office without providing the appropriate documentation for 8 years. This demand for documents will go away in time.

Yeah, I am sure all of America believes that the people who absolutely knew what was about to go down all had third party financial advisors pull a huge amount of their stock investment out of the market without it tanking, without ANY communication with them to do so.

Her defense is fricking laughable and a ceo would have to show the proof not just say it.

She thinks all the peasants are retarded if they believe she has no communication with her broker.

Of course she is right, only a few will actually be outraged enough to even call and give her shite. Most will just move on over time because Americans are fricking pussies now days.

I’m glad to see you calling her arse out.

She’s lucky the virus itself may take headlines but Collins will unload on her and I don’t think she has any fight in her - she’s just another swamp rat.

The attacks against her are dubious. Very different than Burr, IMO.

First off, Loeffer's husband runs the NYSE. Given that, the chance Loeffler has anything to do with her investments is pretty much ZERO.

Second, if her husband is not protected by an independent account/trust he should be investigated by the SEC. I cannot believe he'd be allowed to freely trade on an exchange he runs. Even if allowed, I'd be stunned if he did it.

It's the Senator's responsibility to provide an explanation for this. Her arse is on the line right now with Doug Collins licking his chops in the wings.

If she wants her brokers to credibly advocate on her behalf in the press and on the campaign trail, she needs to act now.

But I will say that she has the best defense out of all the senators implicated in this considering that the sum total of the transactions were were practically pennies to her compared to Richard Burr who is nowhere near as wealthy as Kelly Loeffler and her husband.

But her defense is completely dependent on verifiable receipts and a credible explanation. And those should just be for starters.

No.
In fact, the accusation is dubious.

In another post, I noted that my trades look very similar to Loeffler's albeit hers trailed mine by 10days or so. Those had to do with market reads. Not inside information.

I have never been loyal to a single politician in my life unlike so many on this board erroneously do.

I'm all about results and who will best advance my political and financial interests and I will support the best candidate that can deliver on them.

If electability is not a concern like in Ruby Red Alabama, I will go with the most conservative candidate.

In purpleish places where electability is absolutely a concern, I will go with the most conservative candidate that I believe can win the race.

That's why I really hope Senator Loeffler is able to defeat the electoral poison that this story is. I did the same thing last year where I saw Eddie Rispone who I initially supported make a huge mistake attacking Ralph Abraham and said he was making a mistake that would get JBE reelected and I ended up being correct.

lol comparing your trades to hers is fricking laughable.

you don't have access to the things that she does. If this was a CEO or any top level executive they would be held down and forced to provide proof.

Its like a fricking auditor, they don't do things that compromise the appearance of independence because then it ruins the entire purpose of the audit. They don't have to actually do something it just has to appear they weren't independent and they are fricked.

She needs to be skewered but so does all of congress that gets away with this which is way more than the four released so far.

You are wasting your breath.

I was a little behind and didn't move mine until Feb 17th after I read a story about the China virus and knowing how day traders panic.

These people on this board are falling for more Liberal media propaganda.

Same here. It wasn’t exactly hard to “predict” the market was going to come off of record highs due to.... any hiccup.

It’s hilarious to me. The government is locking people in their homes, killing small businesses, spending trillions that *we* will have to pay for —yet the outrage is personal stock account values for politicians.

They are pissed about this , but not pissed that welfare filth will be getting another freebie with a "stimulus" check.
