They don't know it yet because they are too short sighted to see it, but the media's push of democratic party away from the middle and further towards the progressive extremes is sealing their fate.

Great take! I have been thinking this the whole time BUT we kinda need to keep this a secret as best we can. I do think the media and Dems these days though are too arrogant to realize what they are doing as you noted their shortsightedness...a lot of it is arrogance driven thus to turn this train around would be to admit they were wrong in areas and that isn't about to happen!

Their strategy and I'm being kind to refer to it as a strategy, is to convince us that the majority of Americans agree with and support their positions.
Either an idea resonates with voters or it doesn't. Attempting to sway opinion through lying polling information is not the winner they believe it to be.

This is true, they're pushing the dems to the extreme left, but at the same time they're pushing "normal" slowly further left as well. And I think that's the real goal, and the real danger.
