It is indeed like we are being ruled by high schoolers but not the ambitious and academically gifted student government types. Though such SGA leaders thrived on self-congratulatory adulation, flatulent praise and may have harbored latent authoritarian tendencies, they could at least competently organize a bake sale.
No — it now seems the sadistic malcontents, goths, glue sniffers, and other assorted anti-social misfits have been granted status as hall monitors. Their first priority in organizing a bake sale is to burn the kitchen down because it reinforces the patriarchy — or some such nonsense.
