A friend of mine who is an avid hunter and gun owner was laughing about this yesterday. He thinks a lot of those guys are are adolescents who have failed to develop beyond their teens and are still influenced by Rambo movies
Your friend is obviously an adolescent who's clearly influenced by childish frontier movies like Jeremiah Johnson.

Our property is in Poplarville. The Louisiana Black Bear is coming back strong. Last year they were taken off the endangered list and there have been a number of sightings in our area the past couple of years.

Yeah we're in Doloroso. I'm sure we have some in the area, just haven't gotten any on cam recently. Everyone's all excited for deer season and I'm over here chomping on the bit for deer season to be over

1994 called. They want their gun control legislation back.

hile they fight tooth and nail for open borders so that guns can be smuggled in to bad guys
They need lots of gun crimes so they can justify taking guns away from the people who do not commit gun crimes.

You should realize many lawful gun owners collect guns of all types as a hobby and enjoy shooting them.
Every car built today can go over 120mph, but the speed limit is 70?
Should we govern every car to only go 70? Why not? Serious question. It would cut down on car accidents and fatalities.

Sounds good to me. I have all of the assault style rifles I need. As long as I can keep mine I'm good

No. We should ban ALL transportation over the max speed that mankind has achieved since the dawn of time. Roughly 25mph.
The founding fathers had no idea that we would allow a 16 year old to drive a 1500 lb speeding chunk of metal 70mph. They would be absolutely distraught that we allow so many innocent people to die simply because they wanted to get somewhere quickly

So, can I keep this gun and use it or not?

To kill people better.

Perhaps the first order of business should be to fix the holes in the system of background checks.
but we know The Swamp isn't interested in fixing problems.

banning any magazine over 10 rounds
Is this talking about AR magazines, as in limiting any newly produced AR magazine to 10 rounds? Or is this all magazines?

It would only limit new mags after a ban takes effect, the tens of millions of hi-cap mags already in circulation would remain unaffected.
However this bill will go nowhere.

Also sounds like requiring background checks for person to person transfer of "assault" weapons. I'd be interested to see how they propose to do that.
Would be unenforceable
