I don't see this with his remarks.

He condones what they did.

Normally this is the correct approach. But doesn't this fool remember they have been after Trump since before Day 1 of his Presidency? What an out of touch a-hole.

He just said the left needs to let it play out. Said Russiagate needed time to see it play out because he was innocent

So let this play out before you give each other (the demcorats) high fives.

Said it is extremely dangerous what happened for every American

He sounds like a good guy on this interview.

No, Russiagate should not have been allowed to play out. The second we realized it was politically motivated bullshite it should have been snuffed out and people should have gone to jail. Political witchhunts aren't OK just because you might beat them.

Democrats, the DOJ, FBI, etc have been perpetually "investigating" Trump for 7 years now with ZERO intention stopping given that he has hasn't been the POTUS for 2 years now. What more does Scott and the "American public" need to see? Is he worried that the FBI's and DOJ's credibility will be destroyed if the public "jumps to conclusions?" Guess what Tim, they, themselves, LONG destroyed that credibility by unapologetically allowing themselves to become weaponized by one party against the other party.

Republicans like Scott long for the days where they could continue to win elections based upon "promises" to do something...all while being completely content with their party losing presidential elections.

True

His point, though, is the left needs to calm down and quit screaming guilty guilty guilty

His reply had nothing to do with being swampy…..I’m not saying he isn’t. But it was an answer to a libtard journalist that was trying to bait him into Trump hating

That context does change the meaning a bit.

Let it play out like Russia collusion and Mueller investigation…only to find out documents in the highest court were falsified and paid for by a political opponent…only to see nothing happen to those that truly broke the law.

Those questions were raised after 2016 and have been answered already Senator.

This is simply further evidence of the politicization and weaponization of the DOJ and FBI by Democrats and the Biden Administration. Your colleagues are the antithesis of apolitical.

It’s a very poor position if he did. Best to say nothing, but he feels he needs to ‘get out in front’ and make some statements.
