They have a doctor probably 100 feet away. Why didn't Thune, or someone take Turtle to get checked out?

My grandfather suffered from those lock up TIA's before the big kahuna finally took him out. It's only a matter of time. Is absolute power worth dying for ?

Term Limits!!

We need a CONVENTION OF THE STATES to make term limits a reality. We should also cut their salary and pensions.

The health plans available to our servants in DC should also be made available to the us, their masters!!

Well, hopefully Kentucky won't frick around and [will] actually elect a senator that won't be an enemy of the state after he's gone.

McConnell has been in DC since I went on a week-long field trip in 6th grade to DC in May 1980. Waaaaaay too long to be of any real service to anyone except those seeking to keep office in perpetuity. Kentucky did no one a favor by electing him over and over time after time.

On the flip side, though, ya gotta give Kentucky props for electing Rand Paul to the US Senate. He's probably the only elected government official who knows the Constitution inside and out, and works to keep the federal government in check along those lines.

Maybe they can find another one like Rand somewhere in their state.

It is absolutely astounding how many old fricks that have no business driving a car are decision makers in D.C.

34 over the age of 70 in Congress. 5 in their 80's including The Potato.

The Doctor was 1 foot away. John Barrasso is a physician.

It's undemocratic, but we have a lot of safeguards against the stupidity of the majority so I'm for it.

People keep voting him in. Unless they can't they'll just keep doing it.

This is so sad and frustrating. I know it’s an addiction to power but why won’t these people just let go and enjoy their last years alive among family.

Because congress would have to pass a law stating there should be a term limit of [insert #] and they'll NEVER do that.

You think congress will pass a law to limit the number of years they can have power? Lulz.

Voters don't want it. McConnell could have been term limited in 1990, 1996, 2002, 2008, 2014, and 2020. Only his last election was even close. The others were double digit wins.

Why would people vote for this, when they won't vote out the current representatives?

That's the very reason Article V of the Constitution exists. We don't need Congress' permission to curtail their power.

And you Trump stans love to tout his energy. Haven't y'all received the memo on these veggies? Old people look great on Monday and Tues, then when Wednesday comes around, they accidentally slip on a banana peel and are never the same again.
