They can vote up and down all day. They won't get 2/3rds and Trump won't sign it.

It's simple another death wail of the melting globalist.

They can bring the Senate to a halt. There are many things the minority can do to force this vote.

On Friday, Senator Charles Schumer of New York said he would force a vote on the FCC action under the Congressional Review Act. Republicans scuttled internet privacy rules adopted under the Obama administration using the same procedural vehicle.

"There will be a vote to repeal the rule that the FCC passed. It’s in our power to do that," Schumer said in New York. "Sometimes we don’t like them, when they used it to repeal some of the pro environmental regulations, but now we can use the CRA to our benefit and we intend to."

So, net neutrality did not require Title II classification?

Sen Schumer will simply use the rules under CRA to pass the Net Neutrality rules passed under the Obama administration.

Even if the senate does vote for this, it would still have to pass the house and be signed by Trump - and we all know that won't happen. More likely, this is a move by Schumer to get people on the record for the 2018 midterms.

Both houses of congress must pass the repeal of the FCC's rule under the CRA.

If both houses vote to repeal with a simple majority the motion then goes to the President for his signature or his veto.

If he vetos the joint CRA resolution then it takes a 2/3 majority of both houses to override the veto.

Its always intriguing to me when congressional leaders of both parties are afraid to bring a bill to vote because of fear it will pass.
