Secret Trump extraction from Turkey last month

The Washington Post reports that an Iranian assassination threat prompted a secret presidential extraction from Turkey last month, with Trump secretly transferred from the legacy Air Force One to a C-32A while the White House publicly maintained that he was aboard Air Force One.
Trump reportedly left the 747 via an airport catering truck and boarded the C-32A, which flew to Britain under the call sign “Reach 18.” The legacy Air Force One, carrying journalists and staff who believed Trump was aboard, served as a decoy and continued to Britain under the AF1 call sign.

Why would they even admit this?
It’s now not a part of the bag of tricks.

What if this is a fake story used to find a leaker?

It's not a secret, they have done this for years. Switched cars (from the beast to, say, an Amblance), switched hotels, it's actually quite common. This is no secret.

We should declare war on Iran now…oh wait…

The fact that in this case it took place was a secret, but that they have the capability, they have experience in this, they have done this before, is what is not secret.

From another article -
The deception operation was triggered by a credible threat to Trump, the Post reported. A similar operation had taken place in 2000, when President Bill Clinton used ?an unmarked executive jet to fly into Pakistan while sending his formal Air Force One as decoy.

I still want to know what the one guy said last week about AF1 tech that made Trump not fly on the 747.

Iranian assassins are slightly less of a risk than American leftist assassins

It’s absolutely sad that they had to mislead the media to prevent them from leaking to the Iranians

That makes you hard doesn't it!

Why the frick would they think this is a good idea? I can’t imagine what we would do to them if they assassinated a president.

It’s always an option. Only a fool wouldn’t pull it or keep it in the back pocket.
Oh, it must be af1 because the president is on it “at all times” no matter the threat? That’s ludicrous.
shite, if I was Trump I would be pumping that new 747 the media hates as it was a donation telling everyone I’m on it as the media eats that up, then hop on the other aircraft and go about my day. Especially if there is a credible threat.
Some of yall can’t get around official protocol when the president is the commander in chief and has vast leeway on how to go about subverting attempts.

Because all the MSM will report anything that will get them clicks. Even if it’s detrimental to the USA. Just like saying that we are running low on supplies for the war. I believe in the first amendment but there should be a clause that will stop the MSM from reporting on stuff like this so our adversary’s will not know this information

they should put you on air force one and tell the Iranians the President is on board. Do a flyover Tehran
See if you make a joke then funny guy
