Seattle, is witnessing an uptick in robberies like many other metro regions. Also, the trend of gangs of men robbing businesses and people is continuing, showing no let up.

Unsustainable. Hopefully the reds move out and the blues get stuck there in the misery they created.

Needs to be more.

I want full realization of leftist policies in these lab experiments that are Democrat cities.

Shootings too!

The number of shootings in Oregon’s biggest city soared above 670 in the first half of 2022 - ahead of the pace for the same period last year.

Portland, which was roiled by near-nightly Black Lives Matter protests for months in 2020, cut the city’s police budget by $15 million that year. But in November it reversed course, funneling $5.2 million back to the police department as homicides skyrocketed.

Looks like the leftist plan is not what they want after all.

The blues with means, which are generally the ones who created this mess to begin with, move out to red areas and rinse and repeat.

Cancer spreads.

Midwest and central plains large area, low population, traditional red stronghold states are now turning purple and soon to be blue. It's just a matter of 12 years before blues will control 60 votes in the Senate. That's when it will REALLY start the plunge and by chance, if they ever get to 67, goodbye constitution.

Why is this notable? Is there a metro area in the US that has NOT seen an increase in crime since the pandemic started?

Yep. The city council is nuts. Thankfully, they elected a republican city attorney that's actually prosecuting people now. There is visibly less homeless encampment and general insanity downtown now. I hope it continues.

So, still defunded.

I'm sure it will only get better from here.

They let the criminals out of jail during the pandemic. It’s going to take about three years to get them back in jail. Until then, crime will be up.

What sucks is that so much of WA state are hard-working, normal folks. Lots of logging, lots of farming. It's just the fruit basket of king county that ruins the entire state.
