quote:

Random federal judges in blue state backwaters have no authority to unilaterally dictate who the President may talk to or what data he can access. John Roberts and SCOTUS have two options here: they can bring these inferior malcontents to heel, or they can get used to the President simply ignoring these inferior courts or Congress eliminating them entirely. Congress created these inferior courts so the Supreme Court wouldn’t have to deal with every federal case by itself. But if these rogue inferior judges are going to routinely issue lawless decisions that the Supreme Court has to deal with anyway, Congress would be well within its rights to just eliminate them. Roberts and SCOTUS can immediately put these lawless judges in their place, or Roberts can watch his caseload go up 1000x and his court’s precious perceived legitimacy crater overnight. The age of tolerating this nonsense is over.

I'll wait for our resident divorce lawyer to weigh in before figuring out what to think about this.

Roberts makes Marco Rubio look like He-Man. You think he's going to do a damned thing?

He’s not wrong. All these challenges are going to create a problem for SCOTUS. The lower courts were created to handle these types of cases, but because it’s so politicized, they will go up to SCOTUS, creating an unusually large and unnecessary backlog.

I’m sure our resident discount divorce lawyer will come in and explain how all these lawsuits and the judges that are assigned isn’t lawfare tho.

Ive said this all along.

There really is no need for the Supreme Court at this point since these "lower court backwater judges" are making the decisions for the entire United States, that used to be reserved for the supreme court. They have made themselves irrelevant by allowing this to occur, I hope the clarity is abundantly clear.

Mike Johnson isn’t eliminating lower courts.

Could we see Trump start ignoring or working around them? Possibly.

But there’s no way a group that won’t push for cloture to force a vote for Kash is eliminating lower courts.

We already had many discussions when scotus was deciding the President's immunity case.

Everyone pretty much agreed that if the president was executing his article 2 duties he's immune.

Similar situation here. He's executing his article 2 duties. He can look at any data he wants and hire anyone he wants to help him do that. He can declassify that data for anyone he wants to look at it.
