I never thought I'd hear the GOP promote literal Democratic economic talking points ("Wall Street has done well; now it's time for Main Street to do well").
The 2 parties have abandoned capitalists and capitalism.
It takes a real retard to think open borders is necessary for capitalism.

This is a straight up Bernie/AOC talking point
It’s also an FDR talking point and a talking point of everyone with sense who wants a happy thriving country. AOC and Bernie are wrong on balance but they are not wrong about everything. If people like you hold sway you will drive the country right into a Communist Revolution.

Sure. The problem is there are no Democrats on here currently to address that point to
We got a lot of above the frey moderates and new age libertarians that seem able to stand in.

Da frick?!?!
Everyone knows there is a gap. The gap is, slaves never make wages.
Stop with the catch phrases. You think it makes you look intelligent. In fact, it is quite the opposite.

How can wages above the minimum wage be considered slave wages? It's a very direct question that is very relevant to this discussion
I disagree with the assumption that illegal workers are all paid at or above minimum wage. I know for certain that a bunch are not…especially members of larger crews. And doubt they’ll be filing any complaints with the DOL.
I also do not believe they’re paying the appropriate taxes in their labor that the rest of us have to pay which gives them an unfair advantage. Legitimate contractors will tell you this all the time.

We will short-circuit some wealth creation by doing this, but we should return some prosperity to the working class. We have run this play many times in the past century; Social Security, Medicaid, and every other entitlement has been a wealth destroyer that was implemented for the sake of social stability. The same is true of every regulation. Now, don’t say this hasn’t been clearly explained to you. It has. And this is not the first time.
Spot on

He has to. Give Slow his credit, despite being a self loving nerd, he sticks to the principles he pretends to have.

To SFPs credit I used that term because there are a number of similarities to the slave trade and what we’ve seen recently with the illegal immigration industry.

That's cool. I just hate the phrase. It is a Socialist catchphrase.

Now tell us how you were still right when you predicted Trump's tariffs would sink both the economy and the stock market.
Or, how Trump was going to drag us into WW3 with the Iran/Israel conflict.
Slow Mo, you should change your board name to Nostradumbass.

What SlowFlowOweO is trying to convince us of is we didn't have enough illegal immigrants. Just think how efficient our economy would be then!

No. That is not my argument.

Show me in the quoted language where immigration was referenced at all.
I see Wall Street v. Main Street socialist rambling, for sure.

EVERY single one? Probably not, but every single American isn't, either.
The majority? Yes. I just looked and there was a study done in California a few years ago and the median illegal salary was $13/hour, almost 2x the national min wage.

I could not tell you the rates on this, but they do pay a lot in income/payroll taxes. I'm sure many do not, obviously, and that needs to be addressed.

Again, why was (is?) this an acceptable stance when comparing their plights to those of similar populations (urban-ghetto black people)?
What I posted was (is?) the dominant response to those people.
People make bad choices. When enough do across a large enough local population, a culture of pathology I describe as the Lower Class Mindset takes over.
We've been discussing that my entire time posting here with black people. My response to the pathology of those populations of black people with LCM is the exact same for the populations of white people with LCM.
The real question is why the 180 for lots of others?
