We teach and believe so much "science" is settled. Big Bang is a perfect example. Maybe some scientist still refer to it as a theory, but general pop are force fed that is what happened, do not question the science.

Big Bang - 96 years
Flat Earth - ~3,500 years

Hopefully we are not stuck with Big Bang for 3,400 more years

How long do you think anthropomorphic climate change will stick around?

As the code is improved, that could be called evolution.

Evolution was encoded at the start of the simulation or we just blinked into existence a second ago and everything ....our lives our memories.... is all encoded.

You may enjoy listening to interviews and discussions with Donald Hoffman on Youtube. He has some interesting ideas. Imo kinda an evolution or spin off of the simulation theory

Bing Bang is still the most likely "beginning" of the universe.

It has already been debunked.

The scientist would say to the theist, "If you wish to attribute our existence to God (or god/gods), bring us the facts that support your conclusion."
When the scientist has an explanation for infinite existence of inanimate matter, he'll have a point.

damn, that would have been pretty big news one would think.

When did that happen? What was the debunking information?

but the entire theory is based on one big miracle where everything came from nothing.

This same argument applies to the existence of god(s). “Where did it come from?” applies to both.

Such is a whole lot of science, especially that which is based upon faulty foundations they base all other so called science upon.

FYI, when you desire to dispute a claim, constructing a false counterfactual isn't the best avenue for doing it.

Any scientist that would say that is an idiot. And there are quite a few. Science does not prove or disprove a God. Science strives to discover the laws of nature. If those laws come from God or not is something beyond the scope of scientist.

There is plenty of scientific evidence to support that God exist. This evidence does not prove that God exist, though it supports what I believe.

If you believe in God you should not be threatened by science. Science will not contradict the existence of God. So, if you have faith you shouldn't be worried. Natures laws are Gods laws. So they can not disprove God.

If you take it to the most basic level, "something happened", then yes you have a valid point.

It might at some point, or it might do the opposite. We are nowhere near that point though.

That’s the entire point of the process- the persistent quest for truth via the available evidence. That’s how we advance our understanding of things.

It seems that all "scientific" theories about creation defy the 1st law of thermo and require at least one miracle

Yep. It amazes me how we can see tangibly that unless acted upon to re-establish order by an intelligent entity, that order naturally leads to chaos yet somehow that was magically stood on its head in our origins with such meticulous detail by a random coming together of forces. It simply doesn’t make sense. Unfortunately those who push anything other than intelligent design will NEVER cede to any level of admission of error at any point until God throws down the hammer at the end of the day.

shite. I better get out of this building. Science tells me structurally it is safe.

How does the plumbing even work? How can I trust my vehicle anymore? How am I even using a smartphone?

Damn you science!!!

"Our" Big Bang theory is incorrect. Most people know this, they just do not have anything better to offer.

It is much easier to believe a "God" story of creation, than the Big Bang, however the disbelief in a God is a religion itself to many.

You realize Big Bang was first theorized by a priest right?

As the origin of our species? Already been debunked.

As "survival of the fittest?" Nah, that part is legit.
