No disagreement at all on that point.
Was just pushing back on the notion that Militia and “the right of the people to keep and bear arms” were independent parts of the sentence.
I think it hurts the right when people act like it’s separate, independent clauses. Don’t hand the left the semantic high ground.

Yes. To the credit of the Nashville Police, after the debacle in Texas where the cops waited instead of storming the schools the Nashville police chief made it clear that would NOT ever happen in this city. And it sounds like they did quickly storm the building and kill the shooter when they arrived on the scene.

He agrees. He’s also making the apt point that the appropriate argument in favor of the 2nd amendment is not a grammatical argument. But a contextual argument.
