Daughter(no pics and F you) was on phone with Nelnet(who most everyone is paying their school loans back too) to set up her loan repayment schedule and the wait is "400 minutes"

Look i get it. I paid back my loans, we all did who borrowed school money. However, if the fricking federal govt can "give" away billions upon billions of dollars to the middle east, Ukraine and other countries for kick backs and no one on the federal level says a word about it, but yet they are against helping the people who are the future of this country. Why not invest "instead" in "our" future and pay some school loans off or use it to help in other areas of need? This bs altered alot of people's budgeting. Covid happened and congress did nothing but yet Zelinski lies his arse off and we flock to Ukraine to give them billions. American citizens have nothing to offer their pockets but Ukraine does. Thats the problem with these political hacks.

The mere fact that Joe Biden lied to everyone on a national stage, got the federal govt involved to make it believable considering covid happened beforehand knowing this would never pass just to trick the population into thinking their school loans would get paid in order to motivate them to vote blue at mid terms is the biggest travesty in the last 50 yrs. People spent their money in other areas during the halt thinking those loans were GONE. Now people are scrambling to find money to start paying their loan back.

Im not against paying loans back,im against a pos lying to the american public.

I would put the attempted coup to oust a sitting president as a little more of a travesty but thats just me.

Same thing as the healthcare gripe thread, the government needs to gtfo of these fields and let the free market work in regards to Healthcare and higher Ed costs

Sounds like money well spent and something she’ll be able to easily afford to repay.

I totally agree becuse when you graduate school , your mind is prepared to pay loan notes once you start working so you factor that into your budget "first". Many people went ahead and accrued other loans thinking their school loans were gonna be gone in the wind. This is where the problem is that Joe Biden created.

My sister logged in to get up to date on her repayments and found to her surprise that her loan had been forgiven.

Tell her to stop waiting for a handout and be an adult honoring her obligation. We didn’t run up her debt and shouldn’t have to pay for it.

P.s. imagine believing a politician….especially a democrat. Unfortunately, joke is on our kids.

Valuable life lesson. Nothing exists/is true/is guaranteed until it actually happens.

I agree but most all people are not conditioned to do this. If your told you don't have to pay, are you gonna pay? I wouldn't

Who takes a politician’s word to mean anything, particularly Joe Biden? That’s like getting mad at your dog when he eats your hamburger.

Tell her to borrow more or to make more money. They called me to get my medical school loans payment schedule set up. I told them I was busy in clinic and couldn't talk and they gave me a number that went straight to a person. Who greeted me with "Hello Dr WeeWee, thank you for calling us back."
