"Congrats to the democrat VP pick," Palin wrote in an Instagram post. "Climb upon Geraldine Ferraro's and my shoulders, and from the most amazing view in your life consider lessons we learned."

Sarah was out of her league in 2008, but she seems to be a thoroughly decent person. Probably why she is out of politics.

she wasn't out of her league. she just had an incredibly weak running mate.

Really? Say what you want about McCain, but she should not have been one step away from the Office as a VP.

The only person the press has attacked more than Palin is Trump. Almost no one could have withstood what she did. It was a mistake on her part to accept McShitstains offer. Before that she was looked at as a bright, rising star. If you go back and listen to her interviews before she was Veep candidate she sounded very bright.

I think her post-VP nom career speaks for whether she was in her league or not.

Did she win re-election as Gov after 2008? I don’t even remember

Sure, but there is a very real thing about being a heartbeat away from the presidency. You have to have a gravitas about you that she just frankly didn’t have. The same reason you draft the stud QB to learn behind the veteran is the same reason you dont throw the bright young rookie to the wolves too early. She needed to develop and get her battle scars

Palin was an act of desperation by the GOP to try to check a box with the women voters.

All I remember about her politics is that she was pro-guns.

Its truly sad that a fearful and hateful media can meticulously craft a narrative that is completely wrong about any conservative they dislike.

But even sadder that sheep like you fall for the false narrative.

ETA: ANSWER ME THIS...
if the media (including late-night hosts and SNL) went after AOC's idiotic statements with 1/3 of the vigor they used on Sarah Palin, honestly... what would be the public's view of AOC?

Sarah Palin scared the media and the left to it's very core. An attractive, likeable female GOPer? She must be destroyed. And they set about accomplishing that very objective.

2008 Palin vs 2020 Biden in a debate, who are you taking?

Sounds eerily familiar to the Harris pick.

She was very cool to the rural folk. She could shoot a coyote, or something like that, out of a helicopter. Wow, man.
