They're going to toss out Flynn's plea and the charge against him.

I think it is business as usual by Fedgov. In this instance, FBI/DOJ. And as recorded on this message board, defended on here by persons claiming to be either civil libertarians, or principled conservatives.

This is not a political ideology, or political party issue, this is an issue that should disturb all Americans.

Unfortunately, it usually only disturbs people when it is their side, or ideology, that is up against a wall.

Just a matter of time.

The cases against the 13 Russians companies will be thrown out too once Mueller fails to produce discovery.

And unfortunately for Manafort he will be taken down for crimes totally unrelated to the the 2016 election. His crime was running the Trump campaign for 48 days otherwise he would be relaxing in the swamp with the rest of the other swamp creatures.

Meadows suggested one focus is whether FBI interview reports — known as 302 reports — about Flynn were altered to improve the chances he'd be prosecuted.

"I brought this up with the inspector general the other day. Some of those key witness will be asked to appear before House Oversight," he added.

IIRC, Mueller gave some excuse about "national security" and the trial has been delayed for 90 days.

I think the deal is that the pre trial conference got delayed and it was unlikely anyone would reject that request by Mueller out of hand.

Muller’s problem will come when he starts playing games with getting things scheduled and the judge has enough of his shite.

I figure with all the lawyers on his team that they will try and play the “We can’t have everyone here that day” game. The judge will eventually tell him that he has to make someone available on X day or he’ll dismiss the charges.

By that time, that's the best thing that can happen for Meuller.

Does Flynn get a new house? How about He get Rosensteins?

This is why we need to abolish the "lying to FBI" law. It's bullshite. Local cops are not afforded that luxury, so why should the FBI get it? WAY too much room for abuse, especially considering the FBI does not even tape their interviews.

I am fine with prosecuting perjury at trial or in other circumstances where the defendant is under oath, but it shouldn't be a thing in interviews - especially when the guy doesn't have his attorney present.

Add in the fact that they had taped conversations going back months. Very easy for them to say "you spoke with him last month, the 12th, and you say yeah, even though you dont remember the exact date".....ah gotcha it was the 11th.

Same abuse Sessions took when he did not mention a "meeting" with Kisliack, when they showed the tape he was at a rally with 100 other people and just like several others, Kisliack came up and shook hands. Not exactly a meeting, so the headlines read "Sessions lies about meeting".

Unfortunately its really screwed up Flynn, and his family's lives.

Also, when the the FBI (Peter Strzok) gets caught lying,
the term "lying" conveniently changes to "lack of candor".

Liberal FBI types are experts at "redefining" to give themselves cover.
