Bernie has as much credibility talking economics as I do string theory. It's just ludicrous that worshipped people think do highly of themselves that they confidently your tout " you know all that 43 dollar lunch you just bought...we are going to solve that crisis by increasing the cost of it"

Ridiculous. Have you tried supporting a family of 8 on a wage of $17/hr?
It should be $50/hr.
It should be $50/hr.

Cost-of-living varies greatly among states. That's why the states control it. This old socialist fool needs to be taken out and allowed to play on the busiest interstate highway around D.C.!

$15-an-hour wage in 2021 is equal to a $17-an-hour wage in 2023 because of inflation.
Does this socialist idiot have any idea what this would do to increase inflation?

Wait.
I thought a $15 minimum wage was the solution to all of our problems.

$17 is not a living wage today. I couldn't imagine supporting a family on $17.
$17 is roughly $35K per year based on 40 hours. Two people making that puts you at $70K per year.
The median household income in LA is $50K.
Plenty of people could live off of that in a lot of areas but that is only assuming raising the MW doesn't increase inflation which it will.

The more you raise the minimum wage, the more people you keep out of the workforce, the less OJT that can be done in society and so forth. It's a terrible idea.

Was in Vegas a few mths back & stopped at McD's for a bathroom break. A large place & there were only 2 humans in the whole bldg. Nothing else but A.I.'s running the whole place, the 2 humans were supervisors.

If inflation falls, does that means their wages go back to $15/hour?

This is how hyperinflation gets cranking....
