Wait a minute here...

You mean to tell me that a socialist is roundabout saying that when he raises wages, he must cut labor? Making his monetary output the same, but losing on man hours?

This simply cannot be true. That's not how they've been telling us this works for years and years.

There must be a misunderstanding

and yet in the debates he will stand there and openly claim that a national $15 minumum wage will NOT cause employers to cut jobs and hours

I hope Trump remembers this come debate time. Perfect example, but somehow it will be spun that Sanders is championing a 4 day work week instead of cutting hours.

He finally learned basic economics.

Only took him, what, 77 years?
quote:

“I’m very proud to be the first presidential candidate to recognize a union and negotiate a union contract,” he told me.
He even congratulated himself.

The cognitive dissonance involved in that is incredible.

I, as a salaried employee, work 5 10s , on a slow week.

Bernie the Fink!!!

Cuts staff to meet wage demands??? THAT is a classic "fink" strike-breaker move.

According to the new book We Are As Gods, by Kate Daloz, which tells the tale of the rise and fall of the Myrtle Hill Farm in northeast Vermont, Sanders was told to leave the commune in 1971 because he didn’t work, instead “sitting around and talking” about politics.

Daloz writes that Sanders engaged in “endless political discussion,” while the residents seethed; one resident, Craig, “resented feeling like he had to pull others out of Bernie’s orbit if any work was going to get accomplished that day.” Daloz concludes, “When Bernie had stayed for Myrtle’s allotted three days, Craig politely requested that he move on.”

Right... Hire less people because they can't afford them.

Which cuts production, which leads to a relative demand increase, which increases cost to the consumer, which means the arbitrary wage increase has then been erased. Repeat.
