quote:

The Trump administration is taking aim at Philadelphia’s political leaders for a string of crimes committed by immigrants the city released in defiance of Immigration and Customs Enforcement requests. The Justice Department this week highlighted the case of child rapist Juan Ramon Vasquez, who just pleaded guilty to illegal re-entry. The illegal immigrant from Honduras previously was in Philadelphia custody on local charges back in 2014. But when those charges were dropped a year later, city officials ignored an ICE detainer. Vasquez was later arrested and convicted for raping a child and unlawful sexual contact with a minor. He is now serving between eight and 20 years in prison.

I think what is more infuriating is the video clip in article with the Mayor celebrating being a sanctuary city.

Sanctuary cities willfully break the law and are not punished, at the detriment of the public. Those cities are awful places that are encouraging crime for social justice brownie points

Without the rule of law our society will fall apart.

When we see leaders picking and choosing which laws they want to follow and ignoring others, things fall apart as you illustrated.

It's not even a debate. These people are illegal. They gotta go. Spare me their sob stories. I'm sorry their nation's suck, but maybe they should work to make them better.

How are politicians not charged with obstruction of justice?

This is a very naive point of view. Politicians and journalists are targeted if they dare go against the cartels. It’s not America where you can speak out on anything and try to change things.

With that said, if they want to come to America, there are plenty of legal ways to do so. The rapists and murderers won’t make it in that way so they don’t try.

I cast my first vote ever for Ronald Reagan. America today is but a shadow of his hopes and dreams. A virus is upon us, infected by fear, lack of education, and protectionism. The statue of liberty weeps while you scream.

This will end up on the poli board. Ask the parents of that child if they give a frick about separations at the border or DACA. Trump might be an unpleasant individual, but he recognizes that his job is to enforce the laws of the nation. Laws that congress has passed.

that's quite a feel good quote from President Reagan. Warms the heart on a Friday morning doesn't it?

Let me ask you tho, what if the people entering this country don't have much more than a 3rd or 4th grade level of education, what if they can't speak English or care to, what if they come from a history of crime and violence, and most importantly they cannot and will not integrate into American society?

Where will they live? How will they support themselves and/or their children? who will pay for them to live here and reap the benefits of being an American citizen?

Will you let them live in your house? Maybe somewhere on your property? Will you donate money, food, and clothing to them?

That didn't happen overnight!
Mexican and Central Americans have proven incapable of building a civilized nation for decades.

Reagan was completely wrong about amnesty.

The Statue of Liberty is French, so, of course it cries. Lady Liberty would hold a white flag if she could.
