My family plans major international conferences and have booked in San Francisco annually for years. This year is the first time they’ve not planned a single conference in that area in many years.

A friend of mine had a conference in SF a few weeks ago and told me there was a horrid stench hanging over the entire city. He said he barely ate over the course of the trip because of it.

I noticed this happening at JFK last year. It wasn't as bad as what they are talking about at SFO (just a few people sleeping along the skywalk) but it's something that I saw happening under Bloomberg.
