Hate this news for anyone.
Not his biggest fan now, but I remember as a kid my dad would have him on WWL all the time. Does he still call his followers ditto heads?

Callers are not good for his type of show. They don't understand concise speech. So they waste time telling him about how much they love the show.
His solution was 'Just say 'Ditto, Rush' and get on with your question.'
Neal Boortz had a similar plan. 'For brevity just say 'blah, blah, blah, Neal' and get on with your question.'
It was great:
Caller... 'Blah, Blah, Blah, Neal.'
Neal..'Blah, Blah, Blah, Caller'
Then the questions would begin.
