May cooler heads prevail all around.

They're not threatening to invade. They're saying that Germany is posturing for war. This is over that drone incident at the airport a short while back. Germany is saying the Russians were responsible and they insist they aren't. And then Germany's new chancellor made remarks about becoming Europe's primary military force and closed relations with Russia. Russia is saying they're preparing for war.

The Russians would march to Berlin very quickly. The Germans don’t have enough firepower to do much to resist being conquered again.

It's Lavrov. He is always overly dramatic and taking things to the extreme. That is his purpose for Russia, to make radical statements to encourage the global population to fear Russia.

The CW around here is that the Russians have too much on their plate being virtually stalemated with Ukraine that they couldn't muster much and wouldn't even bother trying NATO.
