Russian casualties have been over a million for about 3 months now.

I thought it was at least ten million by now.

So that begs the question ...
So that begs the question, "Do you actually believe those numbers?"

The highest Ukrainian casualty estimates are no more than 1/3 that. Do you really believe the Russian to Ukrainian casually ratio is three to one? Frankly, a one-to-one ratio would be a win for Ukraine.

Sorry. I misspelled it. It's Macgregor not McGregor.

His initial stance was that if Putin didn't want to make a deal for peace, he was going to give Ukraine more than they could use.

I heard Douglas McGregor this morning say Russian casualties were 120K and Ukraine casualties are up to 1.6-1.7 million.

Complete bullshite. No way Russia has been putting such lopsided casualty numbers on Ukraine without Ukrainian lines completely collapsing. If this were really the case this war would be over by now.

Your concept of the meaning of 1 million and Russia’s are completely different. In WW2 they sustained 1 million between June 1941 and October 1941.

I 100% think Russia has more casualties, they are on the offensive. Ukraine is in their home country trying to defend, and Russia has been for the most part trying to be the offender here.

Ukraine is also using a lot of western weapons and Russia their own. I trust that the western weapons are more lethal than Russian, all else being the same. That's not saying Russian is not good enough quality.

ETA: I'm also a firm believer that if the Russian casualties were not severe they would have been making a bigger push more often. Which they are not. At this point, the only reason the war is not over is Russia is trying to desperately save face.

If Russia was at 1M casualties there would be mass protests throughout the country

So that begs the question, why are we still going to be supplying Ukraine as if they have a chance in hell?

I think tactically Trump erred in cutting off aid before a deal was done.

Putin stopped negotiating in good faith. The only way to hold Putin’s feet to the fire is to arm Ukraine.

I wouldn't trust any numbers being put out regarding Russia/Ukraine from either side.

This applies to both sides. Take whatever number of losses they said they have sustained and multiply it by 4. Take the number of losses that they claim to have inflicted on the other side and divide by 4.
