fox news is reporting that this missile uses a homing system so if it fires at a plane but if there is a larger plane in that same path it will divert and take on that plane.

Russia/Germany conflict is WWIII. All you need to do to get it to be a complete cluster is to get isreal involved, and since we know isreal loves a good fight it wouldn't be that hard.

That's why I don't think anything significant will come of this.
Obama won't get the US involved and Europe is too scared of getting cut off from Russian oil and gas to get involved.

Fox News just again explained how this worked and how it could miss a smaller plane and hit a passenger liner again.

Fair enough but you have to start asking the question about where to draw the line, otherwise do we intend to just let whatever happen over there?
To me, American deaths seems like a decent "red line" although I concede the context and variables around those deaths has to be factored in.

Someone there wants to start a regional conflict, and its all based on oil rights, its a shame that those people had to die for this conflict.
