reports are that there is debris spread over miles of Ukraine near Russia. That is clearly an evidence of an explosion.

ABC news just quoted Obama saying, this is a terrible tragedy our biggest concern is finding out if there were any Americans on board. Jesus something happened 50k miles away and this site jumps straight to Obama.
