Every time I see a Russian convoy lines up all tight and neat like lincoln logs, I think of the A-10's swooping in and the Avenger auto-cannon firing 70 rounds per second 30×173 mm GAU-8/A depleted uranium armor piercing rounds.

The inept Russian military let separatists have anti-air missles which shot down a civilian airliner. Never underestimate the Russians idiotic thought process.

Are we sure that's recent? Lot of pictures and videos that aren't related to what is happening now, have been passed around as breaking news. So, before I give africk either way, gonna need verification that isn't strictly filtered through our propaganda.

Agreed. Russia can’t even seem to take Ukraine with their military at this point. The only ace in the hole they have are nukes. They’re eventually going to take Ukraine because of numbers. It sure as hell isn’t military efficiency power.

I think you’re a 100% wrong. NATO has next to no military power except for the USA. Poland only has 60,000 in their army so that won’t stop much. The German commanding general admitted last week Germany is weak.

France, the U.K., Turkey, and Italy all have perfectly capable militaries, especially from an air and naval perspective. Poland Spain and some others like Norway are much smaller but can still contribute to a NATO force. Germany is reinvesting in theirs now as well.
And btw, combining arms to make a more formidable force is the entire point.

NATO forces have 5X the resources of the Soviets. The equalizer would be a Soviet military backed by the Chinese. IMO - the Chinese would love to see us just frick each other up all to be damned and watch the shite show.

So far the Russians are having faster progress in a more prepared powerful country then the Americans did in Iraq, so what is exactly bad? Oh yeah, I’m guessing the USA didn’t “lose” in Afghanistan either.

Putin is crazy but he isn’t crazy enough to start a shooting war with the West. Not even China would back him there.
His best bet right now is to save face and retreat from Ukraine with Ukraine giving up Crimea and Eastern provinces and a promise to not join NATO. It’s the best hope for peace…. Tired of hearing about children being murdered.
