This guy is former Russian navy and lives in the U.S. He has been talking shite for months about how the U.S. military has major weaknesses in part due to not having the industrial capacity of Russia, although he does show respect for U.S. Navy. But, he was really flexing today:

So that’s where Baghdad Bob went. The Russian Military is a train wreck that is only strong on its home turf.

Anyone keeping up with the design and building programs the mess the US Navy is facing.

Now when speaking of failed building programs Russia still takes the cake.

If nothing else, Ukraine is a great proving ground for both our stuff and their stuff. And as long as Ukrainians are good with being on the business end of both, I say we arm the shite out of them.

Its all our "stuff", thats how the MIC keeps scaring the public into thinking we need "the next generation" of everything, we just "leak the specs, wink wink" then have the press handle the fear mongering.

if the performance of the Russian military in Ukraine is any indication, they will probably manage to sink their own ships in the process.

You talking about the same russia we were hitching rides with on their rockets to get to the international space station when the shuttle was decommissioned?

And they wouldn’t have been able to do this without funding and support from the US.

Russia has attained pretty good superiority in the air.

Not at all the case. Russian aircraft rarely cross the front lines and mostly stay well behind shooting missiles across the line at Ukrainian aircraft, which should have been easily wiped out in just a few days yet still flying.

Either you made that up or you info comes from some idiot.

Let me know when you understand the doctrinal definition of air superiority.

Russian aircraft should have easily achieved air superiority but maybe its pilots are vagina boys OR they don't have replacement for damaged aircraft. Either way, Ukraine flies freely over its controlled territory.

Only an idiot would see that as achieving air superiority.

Try again

You come so close to understanding this issue in your own reply. And yet, so far away.

according to the US Airforce, the definition of Air Superiority is:

quote:

Air Superiority is that degree of control of the air by one force that permits the conduct of its operations at a given time and place without prohibitive interference from air and missile threats.
* Historically, air superiority has proven to be a prerequisite to success for an operation/campaign
* Prevents enemy air and missile threats from interfering with operations of friendly air, land, maritime, space, and special operations forces, thus facilitating freedom of action and movement.

Russia does not have Air Superiority.

The Ukrainian Air Force does not affect Russian operations at all - therefore...Russians have air superiority. Did you bother to read the definition? Probably not.

I'm just going to keep saying it - Russia has a better military than Ukraine. Every single analyst on the planet came to the same conclusion prior to this war. Nothing about this is controversial. Some of you are simply incapable of logical, objective thought on this topic because of your emotions.

The Russians own the battlespace. The Ukrainians are getting worked over, every single day - as every analyst predicted - despite Russia's horrible entry into this war, with the worst selection of TTPs ever.

Stop larping like 400lb fatasses playing specops with Airsoft equipment, and come back down to reality.

Russia is winning. In the air. On the land. It doesn't matter. They are the better military. They always have been.

Just accept it.

Completely agreed Russia has the better military right now.

After we give Ukraine about 100 F16s and a 2000 Bradley’s it will be a much more fair fight but I don’t want Russia checking out before then so let’s keep building them up.
