Rush seems to be more a defeatist lately about the country’s future

It certainly must be because he doesn’t have much longer on this earth and his thoughts are less on temporal things and more towards the afterlife, but he seems defeated.
When he assumed he had years and years to live, if a caller called and said we can’t beat the Left or America is done, he’d rebuke them and tell them about what we can do long term to change things.
Just now he had a few callers make suggestions on how we can fight back like boycotting sponsors and writing our Congressmen and he basically told them it’s useless.
I know he’s not on often anymore, but when he is, there seems to be this theme.
Has anyone else picked up on this?

Every institution is corrupt. What is there to be optimistic about. The country as we knew it is gone.

Rush is a clear voice of sanity in an otherwise crazy world. No one can replace him. And, likewise, there is no way to deny that this country is in bad times. Look how the cancel culture moved from inanimate statues to real ordinary Americans in less than a year. You and I are on the chopping block merely for agreeing with Rush. He knows what’s up.

I mean there is no election integrity at this point. The media is completely propaganda at this point. The DOJ, FBI, etc. are all partisan and corrupt to the core. Trump was a nice bump in the road to hell, but now he's on the way out, and the powers that be will make sure that no one like him ever has power again. What exactly is there to be optimistic about at this point? I fear for my children. They will not live in the same country as I did.

There is zero reason to be optimistic.
This country is fricked.

Well, I’ve always been a glass half empty guy so I agree, but Rush was always unflinchingly positive. When even Rush has surrendered, it’s bad!

Rush made a living off claiming victimhood. He's always been a defeatist, along with his followers. You don't spend your life being angry when you're winning.

How could you not be? We are watching our federal government basically outlaw certain points of view and use their collective power - and the power of their Chinese-enslaved corporate cabal - to remove any chances of representation in the info sphere. I don't know how he's remained as positive as he has for so long. The signs have always been there.

He’s just being real.

Like when he told the dude that wanted to send 7.5 million letters that not one would get open or read.

Is Rush wrong?

Angry? He isn't often angry. Now, look at the Young Turks and the screechers in Hollywood and on the Left and you'll see angry.

And it didn't matter what combinations of Democrats or Republicans you had controlling the House, Senate or White House. Rush was always angry at someone.

It would be difficult not to be defeatist in his shoes. Yes, he is not in great health, but it's more than that. I think he's disappointed in the American people. Every caller pisses and moans about how unfair everything is and when Rush asks them "What are you gonna do about it?", no one has a decent answer ready other than to write a strongly worded letter.

He's probably thinking to himself: "where did I go wrong with this crowd?"

The huge protest on 1/6 was the right idea (minus the violence) but in the wrong place. We need huge protests at media centers and tech centers. That's where the power is.

No, but in the past, he wouldn’t simply dismiss a callers suggestions without offering a better way or alternative. Now, he’s simply given up.

I don't like the Young Turks guy, either. He legit annoys the hell out of me. But I don't think that I've ever heard Rush when he wasn't angry.

I'm just not into tribalist politics.

Well if you think you’re voting your way out of this, you are wrong. Democracy is dead.

Agreed, people keep acting like those in power GAF, like the old days. The new regime seems to be hard to accept. I can’t see how people can somehow have hope for 2022 or 2024, I do think there is a path, but it would be outside of our site guidelines.

Then you don't really listen. He is not angry. He can be forceful in his opinions, but that isn't anger. Anger is a goofball like Michael Savage.

Well, after four years of unbridled lawlessness by NWO Globalists and Dim Swamp Skunks I can understand how he feels. Not one person has paid for any crimes against the American people.
