He is taking his time. The start clock is moved back 3 months in a period when aspirations were evaluated without the spot lites burning bright

I'm not sure how I feel about Rubio as SofS. He is a bit swampy for my tastes but not as swampy as, say a Lindsey Graham or Mitt Romney. If he is the swampiest of the appointees I can live with it, if he is one of the least swampiest I can't. Does help make the Senate a little less swampy assuming DeSantis doesn't appoint a replacement to the swamp.

I forgot Zeldin wasn’t in Congress now, so maybe Stefanik is the only one from NY. The GOP head in NY seems to feel secure they will replace her with a Rep candidate. Says a special election will be called, I was more concerned that their Gov could appoint an interim but maybe that’s not the case

Eliminating the Education Department and defunding PBS will be a good start.

So weird to pull a NY Republican out of the House given the razor thin margin
Must be a very safe district

Has anyone been tracking how all these "reports" have been compared to who actually got appointments? It seems like they're running at a very low percentage comparatively speaking.
