I agree that is the most reasonable. Another possibility is he saw what happened last Tuesday and these polls out now. He thinks he won’t get the GOP nomination and will start his own party to get him a place at the table. In other words, this could be purely impulsive over the last week. Once again, Occam doesn’t support that for sure, but he has proven to be impulsive in the past.

The only hope is to get the country to a point to where they have the courage to make a change without expecting anyone to do it for them. That only happens by exposing the corruption to an extent that it cannot be ignored. There’s only one person who has been successful at getting us part of the way there. He needs to finish the job and recruit more like him.
