Ban outsourcing anything to India

A bunch of engineering jobs would open up immediately.

Agree. Make it a 1, 2 punch. Ban spam calls and put about 10 million of them out of work also.

Between IT and spam caller jobs lost... they may not recover.

Be curious how he would do this exactly?

This would absolutely decimate my industry(Var/MSP). The ripple effects would be catastrophic to businesses all over though.

Companies like JP Morgan outsource a lot of accounting and related stuff to India. It often doesn't work out like they thought and then it comes back.

I have client that does all of their IT support, and corporate accounting there. They are massively happy not just with the cost, but the quality of service.

Looks like they should ask for a refund from Gunther:

He had to do a 180 after getting dragged. Eric Daugherty did the same thing after he got money from big soda

How… how in the hell is this something the Feds can or should tell companies to do??

Remember when conservatism stood for smaller government snd less regulation??

They'll just outsource to the Philippines now.

In my field some firms have started “near-shoring” to Mexico, which is also bullshite.

Get rid of H-1B while you’re at it.

If your industry’s model is based upon removing jobs from Americans and giving them to cheap workers overseas then maybe it’s time for that industry to re-evaluate itself. That is completely against the America First mentality.

I would disagree, while they aren’t the same thing the end result of both of them is the same. It’s taking away opportunities from Americans and giving them to non-Americans for the sake of profit.
