He’s not obligated to you or me to give his position on anything until he declares for the presidency. When he declares we will all know his position.

DeSantis has a supermajority in the FL Legislature. Before he announces for POTUS, he has a legit interest in getting through this legislative session first, and enacting laws that would highlight what he'd like to accomplish on a national scale.

It’s kind of a big issue, no?

You know, maybe one that could lead to world war 3?

Which somehow means the Governor of florida owes you his position on it?

Precisely what stance should the governor of a state take wrt Ukraine??

A high profile politician should have a general stance on Ukraine and should be capable of giving a 2-3 minute answer to explain their position....it's about being honest, conservatives should not hem and haw or deceive the public.....say what you think, what you believe.

I am willing to let the man fill out his obligation to the state that elected him as their governor.

To wade into the insult/counter-insult field at this time is worthless.

it is a momentous decision and any missteps now could prove fatal.

There is time - continue doing your job - respond to actions only in areas where you have control or unique expertise.

Don't try to be all things to all people until you have the mandate to do it.

The best thing for DeSantis is to be the 'people's choice after the backstabbers kill off all the opposition' - stay out of that fray until you are committed to seeing it thru.

Sticking a toe in now by commenting on issues you have no control over or expertise in seems silly to me.

Be a great governor - let your actions speak to the public about what they can expect from you.

I would be thrilled to have Desantis on the ballot in 24 - but I would not want it after a brutal civil war between the trump/never-trump forces. <== THAT will kill any chances of survival.

Quit being rational and start screaming at either Trump of DeSanctimonious!!!

No, you don't.

My point is that the OP isn't just wondering what a governor thinks about Ukraine.

Like you, he's just spreading bullshite propaganda about DeSantis specifically.

Everyone position should be peace deal wtf,

At minimum, he could have said - I want peace in Ukraine. War is bad. Why is that so damn hard to say? How one gets to peace is the secret sauce he could have held off on but that was an easy answer.
