That is the only thing that is gonna save him at this point. He overplayed his hand and is now damaged goods for 2028 as well.

But a complete heel turn to team Trump gets him almost immediate redemption.

Let’s face it, if we only listened to what they were saying they wanted to accomplish in the WH it would be much closer.

No, it wouldn’t. There is a certain large segment of the GOP that doesn’t give one shite about what any candidate wants to accomplish. They call themselves Conservatives and then shite all over Conservative candidates.

These people ONLY care about Trump being nominated and elected. They don’t give two shits about anything else. They have no real principle or value other than Trump.

They are some STUPID fricking people.

Of course it does, because this has never been about policy for the cult.

Translation, again: How dare a fricking Conservative run for President!

This stupid frick can’t even define Conservatism. Go ahead, boy. Compare DeSantis’s Conservative record as US Rep and Governor to Vivek’s.

Trump is who he is… but Ron DeSantis has done some things that make it hard to call him a conservative, at least if you believe in small government

What small government conservative tries to meddle in a corporation like Disney like DeSantis did?

He can't. P and VP have to be from different states, it's in the Constitution. Both are now Florida residents.

You’re half right- which is a vast improvement for you, actually. It is possible. You just don’t like where it leads.

Ron DeSantis has a solid, verifiable record of voting for, supporting, passing, signing, and enforcing Conservative and Constitutional legislation, policy, and ideals.

Vivek has…. well, some contradictory statements and several statements that don’t line up with his past positions. He has no legislative record or record to which to point. He’s an unknown.

Your statement that Vivek is “more Conservative” than DeSantis is demonstrably, probably, verifiably false and proves- yet, again- that you have absolutely no idea what Conservatism is.

It’s too easy with you. You HAVE to be a troll and a secret DeSantis supporter trying to make TrumpTards look bad (as if they needed help).

Or else you really are just a STUPID motherfricker.

Wrong.

What it says is that only one of them can receive Florida’s electoral votes in their respective elections. There is no prohibition on POTUS/VPOTUS being elected from the same state, but it would just be unlikely for one of them to get to 270 without FL’s 30 EV’s.

A large portion won't care if Ron did this. The fact is no matter what Trump says will convince these people to come along. A sizeable minority of republicans are never Trump people.

Republicans aren’t the problem. He will be underwater with independents. And unlike the primary, the indictments will kill him in the general.

Trump will not be president, but I suspect most of his supporters know this deep down.

Trump will never accept a VP who has a legit chance of ever being president.

What does Trump say when

Trump “I want to overspend by $7,400,000,000,000 in the next four years”

DeSantis “I want no part of that”

Trump “Whatever Fauci says, we’re doing that”

DeSantis “I want no part of that”
