I do want to add that him being a JAG Officer makes me more wary of him, not less.
When he bamned Louisiana residents from traveling into Florida (even homeowners iirc), he displayed an authoritarian aspect that would make Fidel’s boy (Trudeau) proud.
This action by him has yet to be addressed.
Given that he is a lawyer, that tells me that he knowingly shite on the rights of US citizens.
That doesn’t sit well with me - at all.

They guy is well educated, was in the military, is a great governor with a beautiful family. Why pick something so minor to get bent out of shape for?

Why would you confuse being a JAG officer with being a pilot? It seems the problem is that you know little about the Navy.

I'm too lazy to chase it down, but I think Michael Tracey and a few other independent media guys like Greenwald and Taibbi have shown his track record on military actions will be neocon. That said, a few people on this board are becoming totally unhinged over Ron and he is probably the best shot the Rs have in two years.
