DeSantis simply isn’t a natural shmoozer. He’s not smooth, he’s a little awkward, he’s too tightly wound.
But the two parts of the debate that did the most for me was when he told us what he’s done with:
1. Spanking Soros DA’s arse
2. Ending CRT and gender ideology in schools
If he can just effectively communicate what he’s done in Florida, he has a shot.
I think he finished in the top 3 as far as debate performances last night. Now that he has one under his belt, hopefully he can relax a little next time.
Where was Donald last night? Working on his list of excuses for his next loss?

That's the problem with never being able to say what you mean and being the one actually in charge, you can't adapt when the moment doesnt quite fit your prepared speech. So you have to try to pull the question back toward a prepared response, which is what you saw from him last night.
