quote:1) Appointed by the Trump admin is misleading and irrelevant.
*Appointed by the Trump admin. He didn't just "go after" Trump willy nilly.
2) Mueller had softening of the brain.
3) Andrew'TheWeasel"Weissmann led the investigation. Not SoftBrain.
4) There are better odds JamesCarville wouldn't "just go after Trump willy nilly" than there are for Weissmann.
5) Weissmann&Co did everything they could to frame Trump. SoftBrain stood back and gave the frame-up credibility.
You know all that!
You also know that Mueller, when he was not senile, was the exact kind of son-of-a-bitch who would stack the system against an obviously innocent client. WTF are you doing here, SFP?

You think he did him a favor by not finding anything? lol. There was never anything to find. As if that was ever the objective, anyway. The entire affair was designed to inflict maximum political damage, terrorize anyone who’d dare work with him, and spy on fricking everyone until the Trump phenomenon was rendered toothless.
But, then again, this take from you is the least surprising thing I’ll see today.

Yes he was.
I posted in another thread with regards to Trump’s statement, as him hitting the piñata. As the left tries to sweep Bad Bob’s actions under the rug, and try to put lipstick on the pig, Trump has “started a conversation”.

There are some folks whose convictions were held up on appeal who would be pleasantly surprised to hear you say so. My understanding is that obstruction focuses on interference with the investigation itself. am I missing something?

DEMS will do anything for POWER and Re-election, ANYTHING!

That is 100% false information. And you want to know why no one takes your stupid arse seriously?
Go back to picketing for open borders for violent criminals, fraud in Democratic cities, trans in girl's bathrooms, and the mutilation of children.
THAT is your party. Pathetic.

He pretends to be a lawyer on here and you think he can be honest?

We already agreed to use a different word than "exonerated".

How? It's a literal fact
quote:
and irrelevant.
Not to the talking point being pushed.
quote:
2) Mueller had softening of the brain.
Considering all he did positively for Trump, this isn't something a Trump fan should want to argue. You're just invalidating the good done .
quote:
3) Andrew'TheWeasel"Weissmann led the investigation. Not SoftBrain.
Then why support Trump going after the "soft brain"?
That just makes Trump look dumb.
quote:
5) Weissmann&Co did everything they could to frame Trump.
This is objectively not true. Their report could have easily gone another way with dishonesty and subterfuge. Instead, it went the other way.
quote:
You also know that Mueller, when he was not senile, was the exact kind of son-of-a-bitch who would stack the system against an obviously innocent client.
Now THIS is an example of irrelevance...to my comments, at least. You're replying somewhat relevantly to a straw man of my arguments, but that's irrelevant to the actual words I have stated.

I'm so glad you posted ITT.
Why are you doing a 180 today compared to April 2019 on the same subject?

True.
quote:
It’s okay to say that, because it was true.
Also true.
None of this is the problem. The problem is the POTUS went out of his way upon learning of the man’s death to take a shot at him. Regardless as to what you thought about him, any reasonable person would have stayed away from those public comments immediately following his death. I’ll never understand the MAGA base’s need to rationalize Trump’s idiotic, childish behavior.

You're 100% incorrect here.
Obstruction is not dependent on the underlying criminal allegation. It's a separate crime. That's why basically all obstruction-related charges include impacts to the investigation. It doesn't matter if that investigation leads to a conviction or not, if you obstructed the investigation itself.
The propriety of that is another discussion.

Obama led the whole thing. He thinks he is untouchable. So did the Mullahs and Maduro. We’ll find out soon.
Posted on 3/23/26 at 7:28 am to RCDfan1950
Yep. He point blank told his team to “find something” even after nothing was found. And did so knowing that the genesis of the charge was fabricated by his own Secretary of State.

Sorta like saying Crystal Mangum "exonerated" the Duke Lacrosse team after dragging them through the mud. Ask the team if they feel "exonerated", SFP.
