When I think back about having to vote for Romney and McCain, I realize just how shitty of an option I had versus Ovomit. It’s amazing how much better the Republican Party is since being taken over by Trump. Before Trump there wasn’t much difference between the party’s, both had globalist agendas. Now there is stark differences between the party’s, one party is more focused on national issues and the other party is more global issues

Utah GOP wanted NOTHING to do with him. He was NT their candidate.
Romney went around the Utah GOP by hiring a not-so-small army of cute (but clueless) Mormon kids to canvass the state relentlessly until they got enough signatures to get him the GOP nomination.
Once on the ballot in Utah as a Republican, he had an automatic win.
