Kyle is getting terrible advice from lawyers. First having him testify then just now the judge seemed to imply that Kyle could have overridden his lawyers and only get tried on the main charges and not the lesser charges they added after the fact. The jury will use those added lesser charges as an out to convict Kyle.

That was the entire reason those lesser charges were added by the Prosecution. They know he walks otherwise.

Yes. The judge and defense failed Kyle.

I'm going with... he will get convicted of something. The defense is very passive.

Agreed, but I didn't hear for sure as to whether they are allowing the lesser offenses

This is what the State will do to put a person away for life in a political witch hunt. And sleep ok at night.

Charles Bronson needs to come out of retirement and give this DA, and those like him, a midnight visit.

They do this shite because there are no ramifications, personal or otherwise. A little fear would go a long ways in fixing some of these truly black-hearted individuals.

Yes, they were winning that, and let it be allowed.

He could decide to do that, but then they can choose to prosecute him again for the lesser charges.

Probably because they think the jury will see the same thing that the rest of us see...nothing.

They are also discounting the pressure some of these crazies are putting on the Judge and jurors where its direct or indirect which is a terrible idea.

The video is evidence, the prosecutor sitting there pointing out pixels isn't.

The original video is..the manipulated still shot should not be. Nor should upscaling on a 4K to tv or zooming on that tv.

Sorry..using that as a basis for saying Kyle provoked somebody was a failure by judge and defense when NOBODY got on the stand and testified to that fact AND the one person who could, the State refused to bring.

Defense is going full bunker ball, and it just seems like a horrendous idea. When you're winning, continue to do what you were doing to win.

The Rekieta Law stream brings up a good point: if the defense would not have put Kyle on the stand, the 2nd drone video would not have been introduced by the prosecution. They only introduced the video after they thought they caught Kyle in a gotcha moment. That video is what the prosecution is now using to support provocation

I'll just say that if the defense doesn't give ONE HELL of a closing argument, Kyle's done. Even then, prosecution gets the last word with the jury. That poor kid. His attorney's just quit on him.

Nate the Lawyer pointing out that the video that allowed the 'provocation' argument was entered into evidence while Kyle was on the stand

no Kyle on the stand, no drone video in evidence

Okay now you're going extreme in the other direction. Kyle is still winning pretty handily at this point.

Remember, all jury members deliberating have to agree that it was NOT self defense. I just don't see a world where that's possible at this point.
