Bel ran last time on his Honor Code/West Point BS counting on no one noticing he had the lowest score on legislation affecting business from LABI. And given what a sorry tax and spend POS he’s been for 4 years, all he can say this time is that he’s not Bobby Jindal. No, you’re right, Bobby had a $26 Billion budget, Bel’s is $34 Billion.

no, I'm just saying Bezos's business interests are not really affected by whoever happens to be governor of Louisiana. Bezos does and should pay a lot of attention and spend a lot of lobbying money in DC, and in states like NY and CA. Louisiana or Mississippi, yeah an internet billionaire only cares who gets elected there if politics happens to be his hobby.

It is actually one of the reasons I’m voting for JBE. I voted for trump, will be voting for trump again. But I refuse to vote for someone who the only policy he has is, I stand with trump. That isn’t enough for me.

I was one of the rare few that noticed he had one of the most liberal voting records every in the State House and I constantly kept pointing this out on this very board that was evidence that JBE is a fraud selling snake oil with his conservative democrat, blue dog, honor code bullshite.
But no, the people sky screaming about Vitter being a meanie and his hookers just chose not to believe it or outright ignored it because they didn't want to vote for Vitter.

Go back and google articles written during the debate to replace taxes once JBE’s initial mega taxes expired in 2018. The word was we had to have a half cent sales tax increase which would net the state about 470 million dollars.
Well we all know that passed (actually .495 cent) but now we have over a 500 million dollar surplus.
We didn’t need to raise taxes that much and now if JBE is re-elected we are stuck.

Well, Trump won nearly 60% of the Louisiana vote. I would say he is quite popular here.

While I see what you’re saying, I just don’t see the felon turnout being very high. He’ll get the ones that do, but you have to reregister and actually put in some footwork to get to vote again. Not much, but some. I doubt the felons push him over the top.

I was right there with you brother. I knew what a snake he was, but it’s hard when ~30% of the voters in the state pull the lever for anyone with a D beside their name bc they know it means more free shite. Pavlov could have proved his theories using Certain groups of Louisiana voters. And don’t forget that 21% of Bel’s voters last time voted for him because “he was always a good Governor” before. And some additional number bc they thought he was Edwin’s son.

Rispone supports a constitutional convention, that is the only chance Louisiana has at cleaning up this state.

Reform DOTD, make sure all gas taxes go to concrete, etc.
Cut taxes, they are too high now.
Make La. business friendly once again.
He’s big on trade schools.
Not cutting out Medicaid Expansion but wants to cap enrollment. Wants to curb fraud and abuse in that area which the LA has said is excessive.
He’s against the state encouraging oil and gas lawsuits.
