Did not know he didn't make it past the 9th grade in school. Capitalism is a great thing.
Right, Lebron?

Pawn shops are the epitome of a sharp-eyed, capitalistic assessment of potential value.

Must be why he doesn't know anything and has to ask all his friends.

Levin usually has good guests. This guy isn’t one of them.

Levin said he and Rick Harrison had become good friends.
I think he's been a pretty good guest.
He's not saying a lot of things Communist-socialists wanna hear though.

He may not have gone very far in school, but it's obvious that he at least continued reading and studying certain subjects. Sort of educated himself.
Big difference from most drop outs.

I watched this last night and was pretty impressed with how bright Harrison was. I particularly liked when he said he preferred small and limited government.

I think if he continues on the path hes on, he'll probably end up posting on an irrelevant chat room board and use some famous persona ame as an alias to draw attention to his posts.

Great quote I heard once. “You can’t let school get in the way of your education. You have to educate yourself.”
Seems to ring true here.

He has always been a pro 2nd amendment, small government guy and isn't afraid to say so.

Seems more like white privilege, the Old Man started the pawnshop.

The old man started the pawn shop ... the son has taken it to a whole new level. Even the old man always said it was Rick (one of his three sons) that made the pawn shop what it is today.
Rick also quadrupled the family's real estate holdings plus he's made them millions in other business ventures including fast food franchises and art investments.
Every father's dream is that the son exceeds the father and I'm confident the old man went to meet his maker knowing he did a good job with his kids.

LV has a cap on the number of pawn shops. Only so many per the population. Since LV was growing, Rick came up with the idea of calling the person at City Hall in charge of calculating the city’s population—every Friday. When the population grew enough for a new pawn shop license—Rick was first in line on Monday morning.
He ain’t dumb. And no privilege involved.
