And he unfortunately did what he was told. And that's why I think that he doesn't deserve another chance."

Damn. That is spot on.

Trump was a disaster on Covid but GOP primary voters don’t care.

And RFK is not a serious candidate. He could easily join Trump as the head of HHS and campaign with him but instead he chooses to bitch and moan knowing full well it will only propagate the status quo when he loses.

He’s attempting to Ross Perot Trump.

Agreed but covid was a frick up all around because of nefarious groups capitalizing on historical-levels of propaganda.

The majority of the world - justified or not - was shutting down out of fear of the virus. The virus did severely impact the elderly, the immunocompromised, and morbidly obese people. So the numbers were there to signal that covid was killing people (though the numbers were also inflated).

So with what Trump had to go on, I think he did the best he could not having any reference point for how to handle a global pandemic driven by a media and healthcare circus.

Further, Trump had six months to understand and act on covid before being ousted as president.

Biden was privy to more intelligence and more experience as the pandemic went on. Instead of using multiple years worth of knowledge to squash, heal, and prosecute, he utilized the pandemic to sow discord, promote authoritarian measures of control, and sway public opinion towards concepts that were not fully honest.

tl;dr - Trump fricked up but who wouldn’t have been in that situation?

Pandemics were not trumps area of expertise. The "experts" pushed him around on it and good businesses men usually lean on experts when they don't know.

Trump did what so many would have done.

RFK just happens to have a lifetime of experience in that area.

RFK knows he has no chance, he’s running a limited campaign that has caught fire. He will make some good money out of all of this and we will never hear from him after November.

You can say ballsy shite like this when you never have a chance to correct it. The bots are lapping it up so good for RFK Jr

Trump was a disaster with appointing people around him. He has a great vision but was sabotaged at every change by people he appointed

To date, that's my biggest beef with Trump.

I'm going to vote for him, but he's got a history of taking advice from the wrong people.

Yep. Just because he’s right of his family doesn’t mean he’s anywhere near it. Dude is a dem and would be a terrible president.

I get what you’re saying, but wtf was he supposed to do? Every time he tried to even speak about the right thing he was met with attacks. The machine was against him and the public was just scared enough not to support him, at least publicly. I think his pushback actually made the situation worse because the left knew they now had a weapon.

Trump's cabinet choices were poor, but imagine trying to pick the most loyal viper out of a pit of vipers.
