He realized a little too late that Trump was wrong, but he did realize it and took a lot of criticism when he ignored federal government recommendations in Florida.

Also, beaches were open, but keep telling that lie.

Trump initially had good instincts on COVID. He promoted treatment ( Plaquenil and Ivermectin), appointed a physician (name escapes me ) who was against lockdowns for all but the most vulnerable, and understood herd immunity. However the constant drumbeat and fear mongering of the Political Left, and media overwhelmed him. I wonder if any politician would have done what we now know was the correct thing.

A subtler point: many of my medical colleagues and I thought lockdowns were idiotic, as the mortality rate in countries where the virus appeared 1st were 1%. And that 1% was very old and unhealthy. meaning very few Life-Years lost for the population as a whole. Sad if its your relative, but NOT an existential crisis as it was labelled. Yet nearly all of the physicians in positions to influence policy touted the Democratic party line. Were they intimidated into compliance? Were they fearful of retribution? Or are physicians who tend toward policy making and political positions just way more likely to be ideological leftists than those of us who practice in the community???

I pointed out the obvious that your orange lord didn’t drain the swamp. If you want to call that crying, cool.

People were panicking around the world, the press showing millions of elderly and others dying around the globe, body bags sitting in cold storage in the back of trucks, speculating on the numbers of dead in the hundreds of millions.....BLACK PLAGUE!!!! etc etc.

There's no president ever that would have gone against the US government science advisors by saying in press conferences "Don't listen to them, listen to me, a real estate developer and go take ivermectin!"

You can see Trump started not trusting his advisors, brought in Scott Atlas, said take ivermectin etc. He was told the vaccine was going to end the virus. Trump's not a DR.

He was lied to and so was everyone else, just like he was lied to by his military advisors about Syria and other things.

The stupid motherfricker should have KNOWN the 'glorious vaccine!' wasn't really even a vaccine the first time someone took it, then contracted Covid. Instead he went around beating off to his 'Muh Warp Speed' even after he knew it was a sham. He's still Visiting Bangkok over it.

I wish this board could get back to the day of serious posters with nuanced discussion.

Posters like you embarrass yourself daily and don’t even know it.

In a way I feel bad for you. Just clueless.

It amazes me how short your pea brain memories are. The level of deceit during that time was off the charts. Rouge agencies, an untruthful media and brainwashed retards like yourself.

Please tell is what he should have done differently now that you have the luxury of armchair quarterbacking. We will wait.

Remember the Great Barrington Declaration in 2020 when doctors from Stanford, Harvard, and Oxford offered advice against harmful lockdowns? They were labeled as "fringe" by the media, Fauci and Collins.
